1. Email link/login
When someone submits a request for a new event, you will receive an email notification. Click the link in the email to log in and view the submission or go to the following URL: https://keepitsimple.live/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=mdjm-event
2. Review event/set price and status
Once you are on the event review screen, you will see something similar to the screenshot below where all your events will be listed. Click on the event date to view the details of that particular event.
Once you have viewed the event and reviewed everything, provide a price, and set the status to “Confirmed” and click “Update Event”. This will send an email to client letting them know their event has been confirmed. Also, once songs have been added to the playlist, you can view the songs by clicking "Show event options" and then clicking the "View" button under the playlist section.
If you are unable to work on the desired date, you can mark the event as “Rejected”. Then click the “Email Client” button and use the {company_name} is not Available template to send the client an email saying you are not available.
3. Email templates
You can view and edit the different email templates from the screenshot above by going to the following URL: https://keepitsimple.live/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=email_template. To edit one of the templates simply click on the template name.
Here is a screenshot of the booking confirmation email template. This is the email that gets sent to someone after you mark the event as "Confirmed". You will notice HTML tags in the email. For example, the double break tag (<br /><br />) will cause a new line to be inserted in to the email. The text that you see with the curly brackets around them are variables that will automatically be filled in when the email sends. For example, {client_firstname} will be replaced with the first name of the person who submitted the request.
